April 20, 2018 Coeburn, VA — Eastside’s Alexis King has signed a scholarship agreement to play volleyball at Roanoke College next year. The Eastside senior amassed 1,232 assists in her two years as the Lady Spartans starting setter. King also totaled 420 kills and 502 digs in the same two-year period. In her junior year she was selected  All-Cumberland Conference Honorable Mention. In her senior season she was selected as a member of the All-Cumberland District First Team and the All-Region-D Second Team.

King is also a member of the softball team, basketball team, and is a member of the Eastside High School Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
