Saturday, April 15 was opening day of the Clinch River Little League season. Baseball and softball players ages 7 through 12 participated in the opening ceremony and scrimmage games in their respective age groups.
The Clinch River Little League fields one softball team in age groups 7 to 8, 9 to 10, and 11 to 12. This year, there were enough players to field two baseball teams in the 7 to 8-year-old group and two teams in the 9 to 10-year-old group. There is a single team in the 11 to 12-year-old group.

These men have dedicated many years and countless hours to providing character-building recreational opportunities for our Citizens of Tomorrow. When you see Kenneth and Bob out and about, please let them know they are appreciated.
