With best wishes on your birthday, Lois, from the Clinch Valley Times!
An amazing teacher(and friend), I honestly don’t know how to thank you for your love for my baby sister (Kim Mitchem)!!! In light of her bad experiences prior to being placed in your classroom, I do not know what would have happened to her!!! Your love for her, your kind and reassuring word, your faith in her, and love for a very frightened little girl, helped that caterpillar become the beautiful, strong, amazing butterfly that we know as our baby sister!!! Thank you so much “Mrs. David”!!!!
