On Sunday, June 16th, Rev. Harry Layall delivered his final sermon to the congregations of the St. Paul United Methodist Church and Fort Gibson United Methodist Church. After many years of faithful service to these congregations, Rev. Harry (as most of us know him) is retiring. He and his wife, Sharon, will now make their home in Bristol.
Following Sunday’s services, congregants of both churches adjourned to the A. R. Matthews Park in St. Paul. There, a bountiful table was spread for the enjoyment of all as an affirmation of of lasting love and friendship.
We hope your retirement years will be good ones, Rev. Harry. Come back and see us as often as you can!
