The CVT Visits Neighbors Aid in St. Paul

Neighbors Aid, operated by St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in St. Paul, offers supplemental food assistance to qualified persons.  Located on the corner of Broad Street and Fifth Avenue, Neighbors Aid is open each Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until noon.  In addition to supplemental food, clothing is also available for those who need it.  Monetary contributions are always welcome, so if you’d like to help, stop by and inquire.

When the CVT visited Neighbors Aid on Wednesday, volunteers were preparing for Thursday’s distribution.  Here’s what was happening:

Some of the food is donated and some is purchased.  Teresa said, “This is what $300 will buy.”  She scouts for bargains, so $300 goes a long way.
