A total of 65 runners participated in the event, which covered a 1.25 mile course laid out over the hilly terrain of the fairgrounds. The trail included several water slides, walls, mud pits, and huge tires that had to be negotiated to complete the run.

Six teams comprised of four runners participated in the event.  Each team was required to complete four laps of the course. At least two teams had members who did not attend the event, so several brave souls ran the grueling course twice.
